Life is like a box of chocolates, and so are our mixer boxes! Each Souris Flats Ranch Beef Mixer Box is unique, with the same ratio of roasts, steaks, and ground beef in a variety of cuts. So, like a box of chocolates, you don't know exactly what you are going to get. But, the chocolate industry found a way to provide their customers with relevant consumer information on their chocolate adventure, and so have we! I shared in a previous blog post the reasons why we do mixer boxes. Mixer boxes allow us to sell small quantities of beef and lamb directly to customers sustainably and without waste. Our mixer boxes are built by using the ratios of cuts produced from each beef that we process. This means that each box includes approximately 27% steak, 28% roasts, 18% ground beef, 18% stew meat, and 4% short ribs. Each mixer box is unique because we are using all the cuts produced from each individual beef.

We made our Beef Mixer Box Legend in response to questions asking for more information. Each cut is listed with a description, size/quantity of a unit, price by weight, and cooking suggestion.
